Go to Pharyngula and read this post. It says it all! I especially like:

"We do not compromise on the science, ever; that is the thin bright line that we do not cross. And we should always make that clear."

I'll go beyond that: we do not compromise on intellectual integrity, and we should be the hounds from hell after those who do.
